Don’t Blame Me!
Resolving Anger in Intimate Relationships

Relationship Theater returns…

Relationship Theater is a unique company of psychotherapists who are also talented actors, singers, scriptwriters and musicians. We believe the impact of live drama, in its experiential immediacy, enhances our grasp of human interactions, and provides a stimulating and enjoyable day as well.

Based on Gestalt therapy principles and grounded in Attachment theory, Don’t Blame Me! is designed for clinicians and interested others who want to deepen their understanding of the many faces of anger, shame, and blame. We’ll examine ways to resolve these feelings with compassion and love. Don’t Blame Me! participants will leave with specific skills that promote self-valuing and self-respect thereby undoing the blame/shame cycle.

Performing scenes from drama and movies, our therapist/actors will transport you into the world of several hurt and blaming couples. At the end of some scenes, we demonstrate therapeutic interventions that lead each partner to transform low self-regard to positive self-value and mutual understanding. As taught in Imago Relationship Therapy, real love cannot flourish where self-respect does not reliably live.

Our company of therapists/actors will bring their years of study in the office and on the stage to this rich and lively workshop. Do come to this day of education and entertainment.
